It is International Women’s Day and to celebrate this I have created my very first ever animated GIF and will share it with you today.
A GIF is a graphic format, which I would explain as a kind of moving picture. These formats seem to become ever more popular on the internet and I can understand why. Instead of having just one image, you have kind of a moving gesture, usually composed of a few still images.
And so, without further ado, here it is:

Playing with my Heart, an animated GIF by Imke Rust
I hope you enjoy it!
Love the socks!
Thanx, me too! 🙂
Haha, very cute! Have you seen this guy’s work yet: http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/arts-culture/blogs/photographer-uses-stop-motion-animation-reimagine-earth-art
Thank you, dear Janet. And thank you for the link. I did not know this artist, but his work looks wonderful!
there seems to be a contradiction: freely playing with your heart and neverheless trying to get it through that damned ring; no wonder that it doesn’t not work or gets any further. Or should I have waited longer or only enjoyed the play – without expecting some outcomes or progression?
I shall ponder over it – Ute
Yes, indeed Ute. Isn’t life this great paradox and eternal balance between ‘just living and being’ (or playing) and ambition and setting goals and trying to achieve them? And yes, what happens if we do not hit the target or achieve the goal? And if we do, does that really make a big difference? So maybe it is the best to be living in the moment, just enjoying it for the fun. Living through love instead of achievement…? It is lots to ponder… 🙂
