After my last post, where I have shared a pretty cool and fun video of my art (inter)action “An infinite scream passing through the Namib“ (Click on the title to be taken to that post if you have missed it), I had a request to post some of the photographs which I took from the participants.
So here is a selection of some of my favorites: (to view the full image, please click on the thumbnail picture)
During the one hour before sunset we managed to get 18 people (all complete strangers except for my dad) to scream for us, even though they were all ‘silent’ screams.
Don’t these photographs make you feel like joining in the fun and scream?
Such a beautiful project! Also infuses all these peoples’ energy into your artwork, really cool :-).

ps: Yes, i was very impressed with your communication skills, verbal and non-verbal 🙂
Thank you, Jutta! Yes, you are so right – it is great that these people have agreed to share their energy and personalities for this. I also thought that the involvement of these people might give them (and those who see the video or photos) a sense of personal empowerment. As in “I am not just an onlooker, but I can physically play my part in a small way.” I am thinking of repeating this project on a larger scale 😉
Hugs to you! xxx
This is so cool. I love it, and I think I recognise a couple of people.
Thank you, Tracy. Happy to hear that you love it and are seeing some familiar faces. I guess we all had lots of fun with this project 🙂
